Good morning Bay Islands. It was obviously a sunny day when Audrey Imfeld took this photo in Spooky Channel. Don’t forget to send your photo to bookmybio@gmail.com with name and location for a chance at $100 in free food at Prime 504 resto & bar.
The next day and a half will be the last good chances at rain for awhile.

At 8:30 a.m. our satellite shows lots of clouds to our south and west. Politilly and Punta Blanca have picked up about half an inch since midnight, with around a quarter of an inch in Calabash and Camp Bay. The north side of Utila has reported an inch.
We will have a chance of a morning shower, especially for Utila, but the early afternoon should be mostly dry. As we get into late evening and overnight those clouds you see to our east will move our way and give us a good chance of rain that will extend into tomorrow morning. Starting tomorrow afternoon things dry up quite a bit and rain chances are very low into next week.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We continue steady at east winds 15-20 mph and seas 3 feet especially south side. Those winds will be pretty consistent through Tuesday of next week. Mid to late week those winds get strong, especially at night, with trade winds up to 30 mph.

If you’re planning a Super Bowl party, today is the day to head over to Carniceria Rosita in Coxen Hole or French Harbour and get your steaks, pork chops and chicken for the grill!

Lowest tides are noon and midnight. Have a great Friday!
