Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Lainee Wood Hartsel at Las Brisas in West End. Of course Las Brisas means “The Breezes” and we’ve got plenty of that, especially on the north side. Don’t forget the winner of the photo contest gets bed and breakfast for one night for two at Paya Bay Resort. Send those photos with name and location to bookmybio@gmail.com.

On the 7 a.m. satellite we have plenty of clouds and showers. Most locations east side have gotten a tenth to two tenths since midnight, Sandy Bay about a quarter of an inch and one station between West Bay and West End lot nearly an inch in a downpour around 6:30. We will keep a rain chance through the morning but we should be drier this afternoon.
We will keep rain chances through the day tomorrow and into Monday morning, but after that things should be drier through next week with a few scattered showers overnights and in the mornings, but middays and afternoons next week should be dry.

We wake up to northeast winds 25-30 mph and seas 6-7 feet. Winds and seas should calm by afternoon to 15-20 mph and seas 5-6 feet.
Tomorrow northeast winds will be 10-15 mph and seas 3-4 feet.
Winds Monday and Tuesday will be light and variable with seas around 2 feet. Wednesday through the weekend we get our easterly trade winds back 15-25 mph and seas around 4 feet southside.

Roa Shares is having a concert next Saturday at EDDY’s on the BEACH in West End. Among items being sought for entry to the free concert is nonperishable dog and cat food to benefit Roatan Operation Animal Rescue.

Tomorrow is AFC and NFC Championship Sunday. Get your steak and chicken for the grill and pork for the smoker at the best meat market on the island, Carniceria Rosita.

Low tides are 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Have a great weekend!
