Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Kathy Sherban in West Bay. We should see an increase in rainbows this week with an increase in rain.

Our satellite at 8:15 a.m. shows quite a bit of rain to our west, but it should stay to our west. We have a few high clouds over us, but those cirrus clouds don’t hold rain. We will have only a small chance of an isolated shower today, but that chance increases overnight and tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow we will have a good chance of a morning shower but afternoon should be mostly dry.
Wednesday our first wave of norther comes in and we will have a good chance of rain throughout the day.
Thursday through Sunday we will have good chances of rain each day. Most models say we are looking at 2-4 inches throught Sunday.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We start the day with west/southwest winds 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet. Those west winds are pushing a few waves on normally calm West Bay Beach.
Winds should calm a bit to 5-10 mph and seas to 2 feet this afternoon.
Winds turn to the east tomorrow at 5-10 mph and seas 2 feet.
Winds turn to the northeast Wednesday, but only 5-10 mph and seas 2-3 feet.
Thursday and Friday we will have westerly winds 7-12 mph and seas 2-3 feet.
This weekend we are looking at east/northeast winds 20-25 and seas around 5 feet.
