Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Rachael Haylock at Odyssey Resort on Utila.
Nice weather continues through the weekend, though tomorrow will be a bit breezy. We’re still expecting a rainier week next week.

At 8:15 a.m. we have mostly sunny skies. Generally dry conditions will continue through Sunday. We have a decent chance of morning showers Monday.
An Arctic blast will put North America in the deep freeze next week, possibly bringing snow Monday or Tuesday to places like Houston, New Orleans and Mobile that almost never get snow. That same chill will bring what should be a moderate norther on Wednesday and potentially a strong norther Sunday, though the models disagree on that one.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to west winds around 5 mph and seas around 2 feet. Late afternoon light winds will switch to the east, and tomorrow will be a windier day, with daytime east winds 15 mph and nighttime winds around 20 mph, with daytime seas at 2 feet and overnight up to 4 feet. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we should get northeast winds, perhaps to 20 mph and seas 5 feet. The US model is giving us even stronger winds for Sunday and higher seas, but the Euro disagrees. We’ll keep an eye on it.

Low tides are 5:45 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Have a great Friday!
