Good morning Bay Islands. I don’t usually do photo of the day combos, but I like to call this one Fire and Ice from Phil Sikora in Carib Bight.
We aren’t dealing with real fire like they are in Los Angeles or real ice like they are across the Southern US. Instead we have beautiful weather.

Here’s our 8:45 a.m. satellite. We have a few clouds to our north, but those are moving northwest. We should be mostly sunny through the weekend with only a slight chance of a morning shower each day.
Next good chance of significant rain comes midweek next week.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: we start the day with 10 mph east winds and seas around 3 feet. We may get some winds up to 20 mph overnight, but for the weekend winds will be light and variable, with some westerly winds west side and Utila. Seas this weekend will be 1-2 feet.
In the extended forecast there are some models predicting higher winds and seas midweek with a norther, so we’ll keep an eye on it.

This weekend will be great time to catch a ferry to Guanaja or the mainland with great weather and calm seas.

Tides will be quite low at 1 a.m. Have a great Friday!
