Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Mary Beth Adams and shows some cumulus clouds behind the windmills near Dixon Cove.
We wake up to partly cloudy skies after a few overnight showers brought most of us a quarter to half an inch of rain. Yesterday Utila got quite a bit of rain at over 2 inches. We will keep scattered showers in the forecast today.

Our satellite at 7:30 a.m. shows a few clouds, especially over the west side and Utila, moving to the southwest. We will keep scattered showers around today, tonight and into early tomorrow, but midday tomorrow into early next week things look pretty nice, with only a small chance of a shower. Better rain chances come Tuesday into Wednesday as another norther much like this one comes through. Thursday into the weekend looks quite nice as well.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to northeast winds 15-20 mph and seas around 4 feet. Winds should remain 15-20 mph today with seas building to 5 feet by evening.
Tomorrow winds will be from the east at 10-15 mph and seas around 4 feet.
Monday winds will be from the east 5-10 mph and seas 3 feet.
Tuesday winds will be from the northeast 5-10 mph and seas 2 feet.
Wednesday with the norther winds will be from the northeast around 15 mph and seas around 5 feet.

Monday and Tuesday will be great days for a ferry ride on Roatan Ferry Galaxy Wave to the mainland and seas should be nice again for the weekend trips to Guanaja next weekend. Temperatures will continue quite cool. We got down to 71 (21.6C) at the airport overnight.

Low tides are 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Have a great weekend!
