Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Mara Owens in Sandy Bay. We both agreed we are suckers for hummingbirds.
Apologies to Elaine Darling in Utila. I forgot to give her credit for her beautiful photo yesterday.
The west side and Utila has gotten rains between a quarter of an inch to over an inch overnight, while the east side has been pretty dry this morning, but got a heavy rain about 4 p.m. yesterday. Guanaja got off-and-on rain throughout yesterday good for .76 of an inch.

We have lots of clouds on satellite this morning, but not all of those clouds have rain. We will have a chance of rain throughout the day but a chance for heavy rain tonight and tomorrow morning as a norther moves in. Saturday into Sunday morning has good rain chances. Sunday afternoon and Monday look drier and we have another small norther moving in Wednesday bringing more rain.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: Winds are light this morning, but seas are 3-4 feet in advance of our norther. Seas will build to 4 feet this afternoon and around 5 feet for Saturday with northeast winds 15-20 mph. Things calm to 7-12 mph east winds Sunday with seas around 3-4 feet and 3 feet for Monday. Wednesday night into Thursday morning we get north winds 17-22 mph and seas 5 feet with our next norther.

Low tides are 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Have a great Friday!
