Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from our good friend Glory Cone who runs the coffee shop in Oakridge. We’ve seen a few pictures of the ghost ship in Mahogany Bay, but this is the first time I’ve seen a face in it.

This is one of the better 9 a.m. satellites I’ve seen in awhile. Mostly blue skies with a few clouds, meaning only a small chance of a shower through early afternoon, but ….

We can see a cold front (norther) coming down from the States. This will mean increasing clouds in the evening and probably rain overnight, through tomorrow, a little less on Saturday, and maybe drier for Sunday. Rain totals shouldn’t be too bad, about 2 inches for Roatan and Guanaja and maybe 3 for Utila.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to some of the best winds and seas we’ve had in awhile, with southerly winds 5 mph and seas about 2 feet. Winds will turn to the northeast at 10-15 and seas to 3 feet as we get into the late evening. Those conditions will last through the day tomorrow.
Friday is our windy day, with northeast winds 12-17 mph and seas 5-6 feet.
Saturday winds get calmer, from the east at 5 mph and seas 3-4 feet.

We’ve been off island for awhile and I can tell you, my wife Susan can’t wait to attack some Street Corn at Ikigai by Robby Molina in French Harbour.

Lowest tide is 11 p.m. Have a great Wednesday!
