Good morning Bay Islands. In honor of our full moon, I thought I would go with Phil Sikora’s Moon over Caribe Bight as Photo of the Day. We have some clouds and showers out there as I write this at 4:30 a.m., up early to catch the morning Galaxy Wave to La Ceiba.

At 4:30 a.m. we have a number of scattered showers and thundershowers to our west. Guanaja has already picked up a little over a tenth of an inch and some locations midisland picked up small amounts overnight. We will continue to have scattered showers throughout the morning and again in the evening. It looks like we are in a cycle of 40 percent rain chances each day.

Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We wake up to 15 mph east winds and 3 foot seas south side. We will stay right around those numbers today. Tomorrow we calm to 10 mph and 2 foot seas and we look quite calm Friday into the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, this weekend is the first weekend with at least a little North American football and when I think football, I think cookout. If you’re cooking out you absolutely have to get your meat cut to order at Carniceria Rosita in Coxen Hole or French Harbour.

Tides are running a bit higher than normal. Have a great Wednesday!
