Good morning Bay Islands. This morning’s photo of the day is a sunset from West Bay by Beta Bennett in West Bay. We just missed the storms last night, but there’s a good chance we’ll get wet at some point this week.
On satellite you can see how we just missed the big thunderstorm overnight to our east. A few locations got some daytime rain yesterday, especially Guanaja.
Today we will have about a 20 percent chance of rain, but the rest of the week that chance goes up to 40 percent each day, especially overnights and early mornings.
Wind and Galaxy Wave forecast: We start the day with east winds 10-15 mph and seas around 3 feet south side. We should calm slightly midday to 10 mph and seas around 2 feet southside. Tonight winds pick up to 20 mph and seas 3-4 feet. Friday into the weekend looks very calm.

I will be taking advantage of the great deal on Galaxy Wave ferry rides, when Susan and I take the morning ferry to La Ceiba, on my way to a Christian convention in San Pedro Sula. If you are riding tomorrow morning, stop by and say hi.
On a related note, I may be late and may even miss a day this week due to the convention.

Low tides are 3 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. Have a great Tuesday!
