Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Lisa Marie Morgan in Utila and shows a thunderstorm night before last, but it well illustrates the storm that came through early this morning giving us a nice 4 a.m. light show. We will continue to have good chances of showers, about 30 percent during the day and 60 percent at night through the weekend.

Here are overnight rain totals. Everybody got in on the action, including a new station that seems to be in New Port Royal. It is labeled “Casa-Mar Sea” If anyone knows who owns this station, I would love to get in touch.
We wake up to east winds 12 mph and seas 2-3 feet south side. Winds and seas will stay around there today and get even calmer tomorrow with east winds 7-12 mph and seas 1-2 feet south side. Monday and the early part of next week we will have east winds 5-10 mph and seas right around 1 foot, so great times to get on the sea.

If you are a cruiser checking out the Roatan forecast, this will be an awesome weather week to take an excursion with Jolly Roger Roatan. Most rain showers will be early in the morning and any daytime showers will pass quickly and give you plenty of time in the water.

Lowest tide is 9 a.m Have a great weekend!
