Good morning Bay Islands. Our photo of the day comes from Phil Sikora over here near Jonesville Point. I love the reflections in Caribe Bight, just below Juticalpa. We’ll see a few more clouds than we’ve been seeing and we’re hoping against hope to have a little rain.

You can see the very weak cold front nearing Yucatan, Mexico this morning. This will give us the best shot of rain tomorrow morning. That’s till only around a 30 percent chance but it’s better than we’ve had in weeks. Today we will have partly cloudy skies and a 20 percent chance of a small shower. Tomorrow morning will be partly to mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of a shower, especially in the morning. Chance of rain goes back down to 20 percent Tuesday morning and then goes away for the rest of the week.

Our close-up satellite shows a few more clouds this morning, meaning at least a little relief from the sun.

Our winds are out of the northwest around 10 mph this morning. They will be mostly out of the northwest today, 10-15 mph with seas 1-2 feet. Tomorrow should be pretty calm as well. with light east winds and seas at 1 foot. Tuesday east winds will be around 15 mph and seas 2 feet. Wednesday through the weekend we are back to typical trade wind conditions.

Remember that today all of Canada except Saskatchewan and Yukon and all of the US except Arizona goes on Daylight Savings Time today, meaning we’re now two hours behind New York and one hour ahead of LA. I love this time of year because my OKC Thunder basketball games end an hour earlier and I can get to bed on time.

I have an exciting announcement. Ikigai by Robby Molina‘s awesome Lobster Special, that used to be just for Sunday supper, is now an all day (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) event. You can’t beat two great lobster tails and sides for $18. They are in the old Romeo’s building in French Harbour. For reservations or events contact them at +504 9249-7662 / 9606-1668

Low tides are 2:50 p.m. and 3:20 a.m. Have a great Sunday!
