Good morning, Bay Islands. Many locations mid-island and west got between a tenth and a quarter inch right around midnight last night. Utila picked up about a tenth of an inch around 8 p.m. yesterday. As you can see in this morning’s satellite, most of the rain is well to our west.
Winds this morning are from the east 5-12 mph and seas at 2 feet. Today we’ll have winds 10-15 mph with seas at 2 feet, and tonight they will be gusty up to 25 mph and seas 3-4 feet.
This weekend and early next week winds should stay around 15 mph and seas around 2 feet.
It looks like this weekend will be dry and sunny, with only slight chances of overnight showers.
Chances for overnight showers get only a little better next week, to around 20-25 percent.
Low tides are 5 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Have a great Friday!
