Aug. 1, 2023: Good morning Bay Islands and welcome to August. Here are the rain totals for yesterday. Sandy Bay and West End were the big winners with just over 2 inches of rain, but everyone saw some rain. Punta Blanca, that got the least yesterday, got .03 this morning, the only station on the island to report rain this morning.
At 6:30 a.m. the satellite shows a lot of clouds over us,
but the radar shows most of the rain to our west and moving away from us. We will have a good chance of showers today, but probably not as much rain as we had yesterday. That good chance will continue Thursday. Friday through the weekend look mostly dry.
Winds will continue moderate through the week at 15-20 mph and seas 2-3 feet. Low tide is 2:30 p.m. Have a great Tuesday!
