July 3, 2023

July 3, 2023: Good morning Bay Islands. Rainfall totals around the island were generally between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with individual reports up to half an inch.
We wake up with east winds 10-15 mph and seas 2-3 feet. Today is the day our winds get strong again. They will get stronger through the afternoon until this evening they will be 20-30 mph and seas will be around 4 feet (1.3 meters). Those winds will stick around throughout the week.
Today and tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, but there is a very low chance of rain, around 30 percent, and those chances will mostly be overnight and in the early morning. Rain chances for the week ahead will be low, but not zero, like they were through much of June. Low tide will be 2:45 p.m. and will be quite low due to the full moon. Have a good week!
