Good morning, Roatan! We heard the thunder last night but didn’t get the rain. The east side got .04 of an inch at Punta Gorda and .02 at Politilly. West Bay and West End didn’t record rain but Sandy Bay recorded .09.

Radar at 6:45 a.m.

This morning we have a few showers to our northeast and we will have a chance of rain throughout the day under mostly cloudy skies. At least that should keep the temperature down a bit. We’ll be mostly cloudy through Tuesday, but rain chances are only 30 percent Monday and Tuesday. Our best shot for rain is today. Let’s hope it happens.
Winds today and tomorrow will be 10-20 mph from the east and seas at 2 feet. Tomorrow night things get a little windier with 20-30 mph winds and seas 3-4 feet. Those winds will continue through most of next week. Low tide is 2 p.m. and will be quite low. Have a great Sunday!
