Tropical update for Sept. 13, 2022: This morning we have two disturbances in the eastern Atlantic that have chances to develop as tropical storms. The one marked with the orange X has a 40 percent chance of development over three days. The models show this heading toward Puerto Rico and eventually perhaps the Gulf of Mexico or turning back toward the Atlantic, but in any case, these storms aren’t a threat to us.
