March 29, 2022: Good morning Roatan. The east side is getting a decent shower at 7 a.m. Punta Blanca already has over half an inch for today. Most locations got between half an inch and an inch in the period after 7 a.m. yesterday. The 7 a.m. radar shows what is likely the last wave of rain out of this system. There will be chances of rain, especially through the morning. Clouds should decrease this afternoon and the easterly trade winds return. They will gust to 30 mph overnight creating 5 foot (1.6 meter) seas. That cycle will repeat (15-20 mph winds during the day, 20-30 mph at night) for the next week.
