April 14, 2022: Good morning, Roatan! Boy was it windy last night! We got up to 36 mph here on Jonesville Point, and it stayed in the 30 mph range for most of the evening.
The good news is that the winds should start calming. The bad news is there isn’t any rain in sight, but that should be expected in April.
Today we will have clear skies and east winds at 20 mph and seas at 4 feet (1.3 meters). Tonight winds will be around 25 mph and seas at 6 feet (2 meters).
Tomorrow winds will be similar, but Saturday winds are a bit calmer, around 15 mph in the daytime and 20 mph at night. By Monday the winds will be 12-14 mph during the day and at night. Tuesday and Wednesday winds will be around 10 mph. As the winds calm, the temperatures will feel hotter, though they should stay in the mid 80s for highs.
Tomorrow we remember the greatest act of love in human history. If you are interested in an in-person or online observance of this important day that will take place tomorrow evening here on the island, feel free to WhatsApp me at +504 9475-4406. Have a great day!
